Every evening, at 7.45pm and 8.45pm, there is a spectacular music and light show called Garden Rhapsody in the Gardens by the Bay area of Singapore.
Supertree Grove is a collection of huge installations shaped to look like trees with large canopies. The trees are covered in flowers and look beautiful during the day but are even better at night when they are all lit up.
Around the trees are statues and other installations centred around a theme. When we visited, in May 2018, the theme was Enid Blyton and I understand the current theme is Toy Story 4.
After exploring the grove, you can take a seat in the surrounding park to watch the free show or view the trees from the 22-metre high OCBC skywalk.
The trees light up in sequence as popular classical music is played. The performance lasts around 15 minutes.
It was so good we went to see it twice!
There is lots to see and do in Gardens by the Bay, including the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest conservatories (admission fees apply) and the surrounding gardens where you will find plenty of sculptures and interesting plants.
